Volvo and the Corruption of Capitalism

Capitalism is about expanding, creating growth, and generating profit. How in the world is crisis-hit Volvo going to achieve any of this by purchasing two private jets at a price tag of somewhere around a hundred million dollars?

This financial crisis is terrible, but it is clearly necessary, just like a forest fire. The corrupt and incompetent need to be weeded out. The sad part about it is that before capitalism can be rebooted, a lot of innocent employees get hit hard by their looter executives. It’s Atlas Shrugged in a nutshell.

It’s sad that we’ve let it go this far, and it’s even more sad that even now these corrupt execs are using their political contacts to steal taxpayer money to keep their broken policies going.
