Karzai’s Rape Law in Afghanistan

It never ceases to surprise me how barbaric many human beings are. In Afghanistan, the incompetent fool of a president Hamid Karzai has just signed a law into effect that literally legalizes rape. Married women must have their husband’s approval to look for jobs or drive cars, and the husband now has a legal right to rape them whenever they’d like. This is supported with loud cheering or quiet approval by worldwide Muslim groups. Not a single Muslim nation or major Islamic figure has condemned this.

At the same time, cultural relativists proclaim that all cultures are equal, but different. The truth is that some cultures are far worse, trapped in primitive barbarism which creates untold suffering. These are the countries with primitive science, substandard manufacturing, controlled economies, and repression of women, gays, and minorities. And we are supposed to treat them as equals, and with respect? Laughable!

Ayn Rand wrote: “In any compromise between food and poison, it is only death that can win. In any compromise between good and evil, it is only evil that can profit.” It is clear that we must ban all scientific and economic exchange with these nations until they craft laws that defend individual rights absolutely, while opening our borders to young women seeking to escape oppression. We must also cancel any and all aid to them until such changes are made.

There can be no cuddling and excuse-making for these barbaric states. We must act with resolve, and act now. How many state-sanctioned rapes will it take until the lefties say “Enough!”?

*UPDATE* Of course, virtually all Swedish media is silent about this. We wouldn’t want to upset those darling Muslims, right?
